Aren't my irises beautiful?! (I'm not sure why there is an evergreen growing in the middle of them, but whatever.) These are the last of our flowers that refuse to die! Ha! When we bought our house, there were hundreds of flowers in the front and back yards. We just couldn't keep up with them, so we started taking them out. Our ultimate goal is to be rid of them all, plant grass everywhere, and then just get a couple of pots or baskets of flowers to tend to. In the mean time, I will enjoy my pretty irises that keep coming back despite my attempts to kill them off! Ha!
So, I finally went to the doctor today, after two weeks of dealing with a nasty chest cough! I didn't quite get the diagnosis I was expecting, but I guess that's why the doctor gets paid the big bucks, huh!? Apparently I have sinusitis! Go figure. Now I just have to get my prescription and hopefully I will be back to my normal self in no time! The first prescription he gave me was going to be $50! I said, "Um, no. Try again." (Not exactly in those words. Ha!) But seriously, they were able to find an alternative that's only $15 (There ya go!), so now I can go get it and be on my way to healthy! Praise the Lord!

I have flowers in my yard that just won't die too.... I think they are weeds poseing as flowers.... DARN things... Weed-be-gone didn't help.
Anyways your flowers are very pretty. The purple is very bold!
