Good News
Gavin swallowed a Lego last night! He was using his teeth to separate a couple of pieces that were stuck together. (I'm sure he's seen Dad do that on many occasions. There won't be any more of that!) I called the doctor's office today and talked to the nurse. The "good news" (besides the obvious; that he's ok!) is that she doesn't think it's necessary to search for the missing piece! (IE: to make sure that it passes!) Bryan and I are very relieved! Ha ha!

A Christmas Funny...
Yesterday, the boys were looking at the Christmas cards we've received so far. Gavin picked one up and read it: "NOEL". Then, Trevor picked up a different card and said, "No 'L' on this one, either!" Ha ha!

It's all Fun and Games...
If you know my boys, you know they play hard! So, after dinner the other night, instead of something calm, like Candy Land or Legos, they decided to play dodge ball. Yes, in the house. (Sports in the house is a common occurrence.) Then they made up a new game...Trying to hit the paper cup off of each others' head with the ball! They had no fear of a ball flying at their faces! It was hilarious! I had to try to capture it...

Snow Day
That's right. I said "snow". We can hardly believe it! (We rarely see snow around here.) The boys didn't have school yesterday or today and Bryan didn't work, either. (Ouch.) The area has just come to a stand still! Kinda crazy. Gavin, of course, went outside and played in the snow first thing yesterday morning. Trevor is like me, though. We'd much rather stay in and be warm! Ha! (Last year when it snowed, Gavin asked Trevor if he wanted to go outside and build a snow man. Trevor said, "I have an idea! We can stay in and just pretend the trees are snowmans!" That's my boy!) At any rate, they say we're going to get another 1-4 inches of snow tonight. So, we'll see if the boys go back to school (and work) tomorrow. I sure hope so. I have things to do, man!
One last thing; since I just decided to post this picture...For those of you who might be reading this who don't live out here...Yes, this is how much snow we got that closed school for two days! Ha ha! Wyoming, it is NOT!

Funny
Trevor was asking about Noah the other day. Bryan said, "Remember, Noah is the man that God told to build the big boat called the...?" Trevor said, "The Mayflower!"

Our Little Turkey Day

We had a lovely Thanksgiving and birthday party for Trevor! Bryan's mom and dad and my mom came over for dinner. It was so yummy! I think we'll be eating turkey dinner for every meal for a week! Trevor has had so many birthday celebrations that he asked me if he's 6 now!? Ha! (He had one party with friends, one with family, and one at school. None of which were actually ON his birthday! Ha!) I can't believe my baby is 5 years old!

Trevor's 5th Birthday!
We took Trevor and a few friends to the Rainforest Cafe to celebrate his birthday, yesterday. Next Friday, the 24th, is his actual birthday, but when you have Thanksgiving (and Apple Cup!) to contend with every year...you celebrate when we can! We usually celebrate with the family on Thanksgiving...Put some candles in the pumpkin pie and serve it on Batman plates...
It's all good!

Day One
I finally got tired of being out of shape (again...still...). So, since I don't seem to be motivating myself, I asked Kim to be my personal trainer! I'm quite persuasive, you know. I said, "I have a proposition for you... But really, it's not much of a proposition because there is nothing in it for you!" Ha! (Good thing she loves me!) At any rate, I am going to go over to her house about two days a week and use her treadmill and weights. So, here's the big news: Today was my first day and I actually ran for 10 minutes! (Walked 5, ran 10, walked 10. About 2 miles total.) I have to say, I am quite proud of myself! (Hee hee!) My plan was actually to walk a few minutes, run a couple minutes, walk, etc... I thought for sure I was going to die after running just a couple minutes, but apparently I'm not as bad off as I thought! (Yea, me!) My hope is that going over there a couple days a week will not only give me an opportunity to use the treadmill and weights (and visit with Kim, of course), but will also motivate me to work out on my own on the days that I don't go over there. (That's my story and I'm sticking to it!) Thanks, Kim! And to all of my other awesome friends who work out consistently and go to the gym and run miles and train for marathons and triathalons... You guys ROCK! And you're an inspiration!
