The father of one of Gavin's classmates is in the Coast Guard, so he arranged for their class to tour his ship! (And eat lunch in the galley!) We couldn't have asked for a more beautiful day!
Looks like fun! I have to say Andrea, that you are an inspiration to me. You are such a good mom to your boys and I love it that you go on every field trip with them and make yourself so available to them. You always seem to have them involved in something and take them on exciting adventures to keep them busy and learning. I hope I can be that great when my kids are that age. It's so important! They are lucky to have such a devoted mom!
Ahhhhh...thank you SO much! I'm sure you know, as a mom, it's important to hear that sometimes! I have to keep all that energy they have focused in some direction, or there will be trouble! And, in all honesty, I go on every field trip because I'm a control freak! Ha ha! I want to make sure my children are safe! ; ) Again, thank you! That comment really made my day!
I think it's a good thing when parents are control freaks! I am too and I will probably want to go on every single field trip for that same reason...to make sure they are safe! We need more control freaks as parents...it shows they actually care about their kids and not many kids these days have parents who care!
