These are just a few of the boys' favorite activities. (You do not want to see the pictures of me playing tennis! Ha!) Grandpa took the boys bike riding nearly every day! Of course, they always made a pit stop at the market for ice cream!

Vacation

John and Linda booked a private chalet at The Running Y Ranch in Klameth Falls, Oregon; one of their time share resorts. This was our third time there, but our first time with Grandma and Grandpa. It was so relaxing and fun! Here we are (minus Avery and me) enjoying our deck and hot tub! A family of deer ate dinner right outside our cabin every evening. Not to mention, hawks, birds, bats, and a even a raccoon!

I tried so hard to get a picture of all three of the boys, together, while we were on vacation. These are kind of cheesy, but it's the best I could get.

Dan in Real Life

Bryan and I watched this movie a couple weeks ago and we really enjoyed it! We laughed, we cried... So, if you are looking for a good movie to rent this weekend, I would highly recommend it! Enjoy!

I think I've finally convinced my Dad and step-mom to start checking my blog! After all, probably 90% of why I have a blog is so people who live far away can keep up with us and watch the kiddies grow. They live in Wyoming, where I grew up, and we only get to see them once every year or two! So... Welcome, Dad and Louise! A Night at the Drive-In

Gavin has been counting down the days till The Clone Wars hit the theaters! Yesterday was the day! We decided to do a double dose of "awesome" and take the boys (all three, of course) to see it at the drive-in, which they had never done before! Gavin was just beside himself with excitement and gratitude! We backed in, put the van seats down, piled blankets and pillows in the back and munched on lots of junk food! It was a perfect night for the drive-in, as it has been in the 90's around here and our house has been nearly unbearable. It was nice to get out in the open night air and spend some quality time with the family...my favorite thing to do!

What Happens in Vegas...

My cousin, Ian, got married in Vegas on Friday, 08/08/08! Congratulations!Rosana and Ian, just married!My mom, Great Aunt, and Grandma. (Twins, obviously!)My brother and my mom. I love this picture! Isn't my mom beautiful!?

Back in the Saddle Again...

...or the treadmill, as the case may be! I finally got back to the gym, last night, for the first time in months! I just walked a couple miles on the treadmill and lifted some very light weights, but it felt good to work out, again! Not only do I go to the gym for fitness reasons, but also for my sanity! (It's either a gym membership or "retail therapy"! Ha!) As a homeschooling, and now, nursing mother, I am literally with my children 24 hours a day, 7 days a week! Don't get me wrong; I love it and I wouldn't trade it for anything! But it is nice to have a little "me time" once in a while, even if it is only for an hour or so. (Of course, "me time" is often "me and Kim time", as it was last night! Ha!) I was trying to post a funny video to go along with this "back to the gym" post, but youtube is being stupid. Gavin's Birthday Party

We just celebrated Gavin's birthday at home, this year, with our closest friends and family. He had a great time! Thank you, everyone, for celebrating with us! We love you all! Here is a little glimpse into my world... God definitely has a sense of humor, to give me all boys! (Am I right, Kim?) I always try to keep things orderly in my life. You know, a place for everything and everything in it's place!? So, as you can imagine, when I went outside to get a picture of all of the boys, I asked them to line up against the bricks...from shortest to tallest, of course! Well, this is what I got... Ahh...boys. Gotta love 'em!
