That's right. I said "snow". We can hardly believe it! (We rarely see snow around here.) The boys didn't have school yesterday or today and Bryan didn't work, either. (Ouch.) The area has just come to a stand still! Kinda crazy. Gavin, of course, went outside and played in the snow first thing yesterday morning. Trevor is like me, though. We'd much rather stay in and be warm! Ha! (Last year when it snowed, Gavin asked Trevor if he wanted to go outside and build a snow man. Trevor said, "I have an idea! We can stay in and just pretend the trees are snowmans!" That's my boy!) At any rate, they say we're going to get another 1-4 inches of snow tonight. So, we'll see if the boys go back to school (and work) tomorrow. I sure hope so. I have things to do, man!
One last thing; since I just decided to post this picture...For those of you who might be reading this who don't live out here...Yes, this is how much snow we got that closed school for two days! Ha ha! Wyoming, it is NOT!

Snow Day

That IS funny, huh?!? My friend was telling me how much they used to get in NY and school would NOT close. It would start like this and keep building on itself all the way til April... and that was normal, every year!! NOPE! not here... we get a couple inches and everybody ditches their cars, cancel school, work, LIFE!!! But, hey, I can use the break here and there... so, I love it!!!
Beautiful pic :-)
Hahahaha..that is TOO funny.
Well, in our defense..the schools closed due to iced over roadways...not the snow. Just to clear that up. :) Now, why they were 2 hours delayed today??? I have NO idea! There was NO ice and no snow!!!!
I must say I'm a bit annoyed with the weather men! Telling us there was a 90% chance of a few inches of snow last night, which gets the kids(and kids at heart) ALL excited and then we wake up to NOTHING. GRRRRRR. I wish they would just say nothing, because usually when they don't expect it is when it comes. I think God is laughing, saying..."You can't figure me out boys!"
I do have to also say though that when I lived in Montana it would have to be 30 degrees BELOW before they would close schools. But there was no bus system and everyone had snow mobiles and stuff..so only dangerous temp's were reason enough to close school. Never snow..or else they'd only go to school for have the year! Now, on the flip side when I lived in Nashville, they would shut down EVERYTHING at just a THREAT of snow in the forecast!!! Now THAT was funny!!
I understand peeople who are not used to this weather, but for me I still can't help but get a good chuckle out of it, considering where I grew up and the fact that weather like that is normal in the winter and usually worse. You know how is A.
Glad the kids got to enjoy a few "snow days" though.
