I tried posing them nicely on the stairs, but they ended up in a pile at the bottom.

Avery worshipping at church, yesterday.
I can't figure out how to rotate these videos, but they were too cute not to post. They're really short, too.

Nana and Trevor's Grand Day Out
My mom spent the day with Trevor, yesterday, and wrote about it on her blog. Please go check it out. ("Diana"; link on the right.) I love how she captured Trevor's sweet personality in her narrative! He is such a precious heart! Thank you, Mom

Author Unknown
I am your constant companion,
I am your greatest helper or your heaviest burden.
I will push you onward or drag you down to failure.
I am your command.
Half of the tasks that you do you might just as well
turn over to me and I will do them quickly and correctly.
I am easily managed,
you must merely be firm with me.
Show me exactly how you want something done;
after a few lessons I will do it automatically.
I am the servant of all great people and
alas of all failures as well.
Those who are great I have made great,
those who are failures I have made failures.
I am not a machine, but I work with all the precision
of a machine, plus the intelligence of a person.
Now you may run me for profit or
you may run me for ruin.
It makes no difference to me.
Take me, train me, be firm with me,
and I will lay the world at your feet.
Be easy with me and I will destroy you.
Who am I? I am called Habit.
I just read this in Financial Peace, by Dave Ramsey.
Very profound!

Iron Girl
Before...
During...
After...

I ran the Iron Girl 5K, yesterday! It was so fun and I was so proud of myself for doing it and achieving my goal of running the entire thing! Granted, I was running so slow there were little 6 year old girls and walkers passing me, but I didn't care. I did what I had to to keep on running! This was the 3rd race/run I've ever done, but the first one I've done by myself. Kim and some of her friends that were planning on doing it were not able to, at the last minute. I had already registered and I really wanted to do it, anyway. It took quite a bit of planning... Bryan had to work, Gavin had his first baseball game, and Trevor had his first soccer game! Thankfully, I was able to recruit the help of my mom and my in-laws. My mom drove me down there, held my stuff, and cheered me on. (I told her that if she didn't go with me, I wasn't going to do it! Ha!) Linda spent the night Friday night, in order to be with the kids in the early morning, and John took Gavin to his baseball game! The last piece of the puzzle is that I was able to hook up with Susie and her friends, so I didn't feel quite so alone. It was a great (exhausting) day! Thank you to everyone who made this day possible for me!

Happy Birthday, Gavin!
This is what Gavin wore the day after his birthday party...ALL of his presents! What a nut.
On his birthday, I took him to Walmart to spend a gift card and some birthday money. He was so excited to be able to get one of the BIG Lego sets that he has always wanted (but no one has ever wanted to pay for)! It took him two days to put it together. He's so happy!

Gavin's 10th Birthday Party!
Ok, I'm tired of messing around, so I'm just going to post these pictures out of order. (It's really killing the perfectionist in me.) Just imagine you're watching that backwards Seinfeld episode. Ha! So, first, (last..?) is Avery dancing to his new drum! So cute! He's a natural!
Dad helping Avery open a late birthday present from Uncle Paul and Aunt Alicia.
He loves it! Thanks, PandA!
Whose birthday party is this, anyway?
Oh look, opening the same present...
Heeeeere's Gavin! He wanted a baseball themed party, so he made a concession stand, complete with hot dogs, lemonade, watermelon, popcorn, cracker jacks, etc...
Gavin, Justice, Trevor, and Cami. The best of friends!
Time to open presents!
What!?
Could it be!?
It is! Thanks, Grandma & Grandpa!
And Mariners' tickets, too!

Arrrrrrgh!
I am really sorry to say, I've had it with blogger! I have been trying all day to post about Gavin's 10th birthday party and blogger is being STUPID!!!! It won't let me rearrange my pictures and it's really irritating me. I have been very lax in my blogging lately, and this glitch certainly isn't making me want to blog more! You'd think that with all of the new-fangled social networking sites out there (IE: Facebook), that blogger would want to try to keep up and actually try to be USER FRIENDLY!! But, NO! I will keep trying for a little longer. Although, based on the number of comments I've been getting (or not getting) I don't even know if anyone is reading anymore, anyway. Which, quite frankly, makes all of this blogging time and frustration seem like a waste of time. Sorry for the rant, folks. I just had to vent. I'm not giving up...yet.

Avery in the Pool
I am ridiculously behind on blogging, but here's a little something. I took the boys swimming, today and Avery just LOVED being in the pool! Silly me, I didn't wear my swim suit because I just didn't feel like dealing with Avery with myself in a swim suit that may or may not fit me at the moment... Anyway, he was enjoying the water so much, and I can never resist water, so I got in with him in my clothes! It was so fun!

Still Laughing
As promised, here is the other video. I can't figure out how to rotate it, so you're going to have to tilt your head or your computer. Sorry! (I rotated it on my computer but every time I upload it to blogger it puts it sideways, again! It's just too cute to not post, though.)

I'm still here!
If I have any followers left, please forgive me for neglecting my blog, so! Hopefully this little post will remind me how much I love blogging and make me want to stay on top of it. (A few nice comments couldn't hurt, either! *wink*)
Avery's first birthday is fast approaching and I've noticed that he is over his baby toys. He'd much rather play with a sock or a water bottle or chase the cat. So, I decided it was time to pack up a bunch of rattles, teethers, and rings and dig out the ol' Little People from the garage. He had a great time, as you can see! Almost as much fun as Trevor had showing him how they work!
I have another video that isn't loading properly at the moment. I guess that will give me something to post tomorrow! So...Y'all come back now, ya hear? (Hee Haw flashback?)
